but if RPMs and HP weren't an issue. I am trying to figure out how fast the transmission could propel the car.

On a flat road, no traffic, no rpms, no hp, straight line, no turns - ever

What is the maximum speed an LS can turn?

I know for a D16y7 transmission it is close to 250mph.

91 cable ys1 tranny in my crx does 150 (or damn close due to imperfections in speedometer) in 5th with stock gearing at about......7500k rpm

i drive fast sometimess but its really really really really scary when youve got a c/f hood with no pins at 120+
