That would be badass. I was looking at using those lojinnovations mounts you mentioned, but I'm worried they'll put it too high in the bay. May just see about making my own.

So after much research and thought, I've decided to stick with the VG and sell the 5.3, and spend that money elsewhere on the car. So, anyone interested in a 5.3L?

I'm looking for some help to get my z32 right. If anyone is an expert on these things and can help me out, PM me. I'm almost at the dynamite in the gas tank stage of this project haha. Thanks everyone.

I wouldn't call myself an expert but I've been through a bunch of shit with mine. What exactly is wrong with it?

Its acting like its not getting fuel. I removed the inlet to the fuel filter and turned the key and it flowed awesome. Took the outlet off and it flowed just as good on the outlet side. It takes it 2 or 3 minutes to start if it starts at all. I checked the plugs and that was all good. When it does start it hesitates really bad and backfires, and 9 times out of 10 kills itself. I've had so many problems with the car itself. Since I've owned it I've replaced the crank pulley/ woodruff pin, ECM, Wiring harness, Coils, Crank positioning sensor (x2)... its never ending I just want it to run and run well for onece

That sucks. I'm not sure about that one but I can tell you that problems with the wiring harness and injectors are common. Looks like you replaced one, maybe try the other? There are some pretty knowledgable people in the tech talk section of this site that may be able to point you in the right direction. Just make sure you post in tech talk because we tend to flame the gents who post that stuff elsewhere

My brother is selling a S130 (280ZX) that would make a great project car, if anyone is looking. Solid body, no rust that I've seen. Runs and drives. Just needs a good paint job and a bit of interior love.
