Lexus IS300 questions.
Alright so thinking about getting a Lexus IS300 as a daily. I know I want an auto, just because my dad will be using it to commute to work in norfolk. But what is the difference between the L-Tuned model and TRD model? And do these come in autos? And if you own one/driven one, your opinion on it is welcome also. Thanks.
Edit: Difference between the 2000-2001 and the 2002-2005

Here are the differences in years..

Hopefully you can read it..
As far as IS300 as a DD.. My typical cruising speed varies between 70-80, car is pushing around 3.5k rpms.. Driving around town mostly down 17 and 64 I average 350 miles to a tank.. Car is super smooth.. Seriously I don't even realize the car is on when I sit in it at idle, even when driving and running thru the gears the car is super smooth.. RPM's rise effortlessly and it seems like they'd keep going if they could..
I love this car.. Much smoother than my BMW was..
Oh and mine is a 5 spd.. I'm sure the auto will be even smoother.. Good luck if you decide to pick one up.. I know you won't be disappointed..

Re: Lexus IS300 questions.
There is no TRD IS300 the L-tuned model basically uses TRD parts but labeled l tuned to appeal to more upscale buyers. As for the car itself they are really nice had my 01 for 2 years it has 58,000 on it now and not a single problem.
