I think a lot of your insurance problem is probably the car too. I think a lot of insurance companies are picking up on that model of car having a real growing popularity with people who tend to drive way too fast. But yeah man, you might want to consider getting a bicycle for a few years and just getting your car towed around to tracks when you want to drive it.

Actually insurance companies have followed it for a while as the standard turbo 2-seater sports car. I was quoted some ridiculous amount a few years ago. Much more bearable now.

We pay 170 a moth for full coverage on a 90 integra and an 05 srt-4. My hatchback was only $28 a month for full coverage.

My insurance is as high as it is for two reasons. The car is a 94 Civic Si, which is considered the "performance" model. That raises it some right there. The other problem is my habit of buying and selling car constantly. Everytime I would go a lengthy period without a car, I would cancel my insurance, not reaslizing it would go up when I reinstated it. So, because of the fact I've been driving for 4 years now and have NEVER had a continual insurance policy, my rates skyrocket because of it.
