So...im looking to get some new suspension for my civic. I was thinking of going for ground control coilovers with AGXs since Ive had them before. But i saw the GR-2s going for cheaper...whats the difference betweent the two and anyone have experience using those combinations listed above? Any info?

 

GR-2s are basically replacement OEM struts.

 

AGX's have adjustable dampening. You obviously did not take advantage of this feature.

 

i did take advantage of it...i liked how it felt..but i havent tried or ridden with GR-2s...so i was just curious...be cost effective and get the GR-2s or spend a lil more and get the AGXs...im just broke...thats why i ask...lol

 

I heard that basically the only difference is one's adjustable and the other is fixed.

 

GR2 is an OEM replacement, where as AGX is more of a 'performance' strut.

I wouldn't lower the car on GR2s.

Yea, just save up the extra $100 or something and get the AGX.

 

Koni yellows are the way to go...or bilsteins if they make them for your car.
