No one ever accused modifying a modern day car of being a good investment, did they? It's basically like flushing your money down the toilet. You don't modify a car like that because you expect to make a lot of money off of it in general; You do it because that's what you love to do. It's a hobby that we can all relate to.
Now if it was a 1969 Camaro SS or something.. SURE.. you can probably get your money back and then some. Classic cars and antiques appreciate in value. Civic's may hold their value, but I don't think they appreciate in value by any means.... swap and wheels or not.
(and that goes the same for my VW, or a Toyota, or a Ford, etc.. almost any modern day car is going to depreciate. I would hope that everyone knows that by now)

lol they never seem to get off the cock, and worry about they're own manufactuer do they??
anyways..the only big gripe i have about hondas,is the god damn Dohc vtec motors :
why the fuck are b16 heads and GSR heads selling for 400 to 500 and they are not even complete...and how in the world do you manage to pick up a LS long block for 100 or 150? it makes no sense..people fuck value of shit up so bad..it makes it hard for anyone to do anything.
Same with tRannys...people have like a flat rate for transmissions...500 600 dollars..and it doesnt even matter what the gear ratios are..
i admit though...honda people do get stupid with it a lot of the time...people dont know how to reasonably price something thats been used over and over...how could u possibly keep paying 500 dollars for something that originally came from japan getting revved to 8500 all day..then some kid in america gets a hold of it..revvs it to 9000 all day...and then sells it for 500 to another person who will do the same thing, and sell it to someone for the same price...its retarded.
