Re: I'v reached a hard decision
Coilovers are a dime a dozen... good blocks at a good price are hard to come across, especially since its a subaru, i rarely see subaru engines up for sale, unless their for an arm and a leg.
Block all the way.

I didn't think it came out right...
basically what I'm saying is if he buys the block, and sells for profit, he'll be ahead.
Buy block - $1,500
Sell block - $3,000
Buy another block - $2,500
and he'll still profit $500. (I have no fucking clue what these blocks are worth, but he said a "deal he couldn't pass up on") Which then can fund (partially) his purchase.

Re: I'v reached a hard decision
The 257 bottoms are strong. A hellava lot stronger than my 205 bottom end.
My thought process is this:
Blocks for dirt cheap are hard to come by (especially subaru blocks).
Im happy with my power now.
I'll probably get bored tho and want more power down the road.
BUT im tired of my 4x4 look and I REALLY need a drop and wheels.
Why can't I just win the fuckin lottery.

Re: I'v reached a hard decision
This is a street car right? If it is, then you don't need 1500 for coilovers. You're simply looking for the dumped look with a little bit of improved handling performance. You can do that with just lowering springs and a matching set of shocks. How much adjusting are really going to do? Not much i bet...
Get the STi block, because that 2.0 block at your power levels is on its edge. Especially since you drive it like its was meant to be driven, that thing is ready to go.

....this is a poll..."do it" tells me nothing about what your opinion is...although now i could care less what it is because you just voided any credibilty by not reading my post.

Re: I'v reached a hard decision
i told you, post number 3 or 4, and you will get the short block (if it's cheaper or better than aftermarket).
No other opinion matters, my team will win.
