shut the fuck up. so a clean and fully built chevelle or hemi cuda selling for 25k+ isn't a rip off? and don't give me shit about 'it's a classic', it only proves that a car is only worth what someone will pay for it. yeah someone could go buy a stock 240 for 'book value' and build it themselves (for more than 12-15k), but someone could also buy a busted ass rusty crapheap 'classic' out of autotrader for 1200 bucks, spend like 5 or 6k restoring it and sell it for 15k. it's all relative, and your ignorance once again is blindingly apparent. if it pisses you off so much that people are selling cars and actually getting a portion of the money back they have in it, then get off the fucking predominantly import site and go post on some redneck 'musclecar' site.

Amen on that. I just read this whole thread and this guy has a problem with a 240 selling for 15k. My buddy at work almost bought a 69' rusted as charger for $24k. He said "I'm gonna restore, paint it orange, put a rebel flag on it, and sell it for a lot more. Me and him go on for hours at work on this same subject. my 240 and muscle cars!!! A 240 will never sell like and old mucle car would, but then again the Barrett jackson auction has a lot to do with muscle car prices these days. A 240sx with 500hp and suspension would own your muscle crap any day. Oh wait you guys only go in a straight line.
