for the few of you who are still wondering why it's pronounced the way it is:
pardon my crappy kanji/kana, it's hard to make characters using my right hand & mouse since I'm left-handed.
The two characters above the line are the Kanji characters for mugen (as per the logo).
The three characters below the line are the hiragana characters for mugen (mu, ge, and n).
Using the hiragana, you can find the corresponding pronunciation on the table found on the following page:

Just a hint: the hiragana tables on the link are set up much like a multiplication table, with the vowels and consonants making up the horizontals and verticals respectively.
