I've been to Europe, just as you have also, and the only makes that come with these that I can think of is Volvo and Mercedes. I just don't get it. The roads aren't any dirtier, nor are they darker. As vast as the United States is, I'm sure there are conditions just as bad as what areas of Europe may have... I just don't get it.

 

Hondas have them... Rover does....MG does alot of them do you just dont notice cause most dont have the wipers. Plus I think it is a luxury item as well so you dont have to get out of your car and clean them off your damn self.

I was in England for 4yrs. They are on so many cars both my accord and civic had them.

 

The roads are alot darker and not as user friendly over there either. Most dont have places to pull off on the sides of the roads that arent major highways.
We all know our roads are larger and wider. Especially in East Anglia part of England and the highlands in Scotland. Plus the sun goes down at 430 there in the winter and doesnt come up till almost 730. They loose and gain sunlight almost the fastest in the world per day. I think its somin like 2 mins a day.
