Default h22 oil sender....

okay heres the question..is it true you do not need an oil pressure sending unit to hook up an(electric) autometer oil pressure gauge? that you can just tap into the factory electric oil sending unit signal and it will read your pressure...i "heard" of this and want to know if there is any truth to the myth...

nope not true, factory is a simple on/off pressure sensor.. it trips around 5-15 psi and cuts a light on, its a "dumb" sending unit..

sorry
