Plead not guilty to both, tell the judge what was up with the front plate, get it put back on. Show the judge that you did have the car registered, the registration was in the back seat.

What I find retarded is that the cop could very easily have looked up your plate and seen that your vehicle was up to date on registrations, yet he still writes you a ticket for it?

 

I doubt you'd have much luck on the license plate thing since it wasn't on in the first place, don't try to scam the judge either he/she would probably figure it out. As far as the registration thing, that's total bullshit, fight that as much as you can. Put in a complaint against that officer too, light his ass up.

 

The plate is a fix it ticket for the most part. If you prove it has been taken care of it would most likely be dropped.
