Heard from many and looked up the specs on the motors, From what i understand correct me if im wrong but an sr20det is a great drift motor, but im looking for quater mile runs and ive heard that a ka24det is the absolute best motor for running quater miles ? Here's what im thinking rebuild my ka24de cause of high millage,, new rings pistons etc.. and then turbo it to around 15lbs possibly ? sound good, yay, na ?? just wondering what yalls take on it is cause i would hate to waste 6g's and not absolutely love what im paying for ..

 

Oh shit, please dont start this. No motor is really any better at drifting or quarter mile or whatever else shit they say. There are plenty of fast 1/4 SRs and KA, also very good drifting cars that are both SR and KA. And if your just rebuilding the motor back to stock then just go out and get a low mileage KA for pretty cheap
