Angry going to court tomorrow for my exhaust

any way i can fight it an maby get out of it. i know that any exhaust thats not stock now is illegal, but i still wanna try and fight it. i have an apexi N1 dual, and its fifty state legal( not sure if that helps much), not to loud only when in high rpms, but the cops where never even near my car to hear it. then i talked to this guy at mobil (who does inspections) and he said that i should have never got a ticket cuz its not loud or to big, and that he would be able to pass me in an inspection if i had it,since theres nothing wrong with it. so can any one help or should i just pay the ticket. total amount of the ticket it $85.00. 30 for the ticket its self and 55 for the processing fee. so what do u guys think?

just because you can pass state inspections doesn't mean it is legal on the streets....a car that's been lowered will pass inspections....but it can still be illegal if its too low

If it is for noise, ask the officer how he measured it. They are supposed to use a decibel meter, (from what i was told) with out you have a good chance of beating it-

Face it, you have a loud car...live with getting tickets or put the stock exhaust back on. What's so hard to understand? I can't stand people complaining about getting tickets for loud exhausts when you know damn well it is loud. If you want to stop getting them, put your stocker back on, if you don't then don't come on here complaining.

Pay the fine and save yourself some money. The judge isn't gonna want to hear any more of us crying to him about how unfair it is. All your gonna do is piss him off and get a bigger fine. If it isn't stock it's illegal bottom line. AND I've had 13 exhaust tickets in 2 years
