News has it the CTS-V and any more ZR-1 style Vettes are likely gone. Seems the tree-huggers are getting their way via the government loans/buy in of GM.

Read in Autoweek the owners of Saleen want to purchase the Dodge Viper brand from Chrysler.

Allen Mullaly, the CEO at Ford was damn smart to set up the credit lines before all of this so they didn't have to put up with the government mandates. Hell, they'd want to kill the Mustang with anything other then a small V6.
