Default are no-name brands safe??

so i got my new car and dont get me started on how angry i am at it. but on the lighter note: i was lookin at getting new pads and probably rotors too since they were squealing like nails on a chalkboard. i found this deal on ebay..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3564&viewitem=

its a 2000 maxima and if the link doesnt work theyre all 4 drilled rotors and all the pads for about 130$

my question is what do you think about the quality and everything of a no-name product??.. and since this isnt something dumb like an exhaust its actually something that could really mess me up if theyre crap id.. tend to stay away.. but it looks like a deal so i wanted to ask for opinions.. thanks guys

why dont u go to like, autozone and get some no-name shit? that way, it'll still be somewhat cheap, and you'll have a greater sense of security than buying parts of egay

Yeah most stock replacement parts you'd get from Advance/Autozone do come with some form of warranty, alot with lifetime.

The extra money you save versus the lack of warranty and time spent waiting, just go to your nearest parts store.

just remember you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to car parts.

QFT. I learned this very early on going into the car game. I always think about this before I make an investment in anything really.

drilled rotors have a tendency to crack, i have seen it 9 million times, and napa has rotors for like $17 ? and the pads are not that much more expensive
