get car running, i'll pay you cash
as some of you know, i've been plagued with issues since the change of my engine setup. i've tried everything i can think of and the help of others to get it running. if anyone would like to make some cash and venture up to nova to give it a shot please lemme know. i'll compensate for gas and pay cash IF YOU CAN GET IT RUNNING. i'm also open to any advice. thanks in advance.
well basically this is the story:
-was on afc neo and z32 mafs
-car would die during decel, sometimes catch itself but usually not, set decel air features on neo and still nothing
-put stock ka mafs on and pulled the neo off. stopped dropping but idled very shit and was running hella rich and breaking up
-pulled off adjustable fuel pressure regulator and put stock one on
-wont start now, put adjustable fuel pressure regulator with gauge...wont start
-CHECKED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
cleaned iacv, checked tps, vacum leaks, boost leaks, coolant temp sensor, reset the idle

Most ppl would say toss the Neo in the trash its not worth turning for high horse power .. Put everything back to stock . Maybe you have a bad Z32 maf . . Is your timeing right . Now your not getting fuel correct after swaping from an adjustable fpr to the factory one .But you were getting it to run befor . Hmm you seem to have more then 1 problem . Have you tried to swap ECU's with a known working one . Last thing to check is your igniter maybe your not getting spark at the right time . Have you searched on NICOfourms.com they have a good tech. section if not i would give them a shot.

Its not his igniter I highly dount it would just stop working when it was perfectly fine, his ecu might be the problem if the NEO was incorrectly wired up, his car has always ran a tad bit insufficent so it makes me believe maybe its the CAS this whole time.

maf or ecu... I'd help but I don't have the time to trek up to nova. I have a stock SR maf (its works) I can sell tho if your interested but I can't promise that's your problem; that's where I would start. It's easy to check the car 4 spark so try that and that'll narrow down whether or not its the ignitor chip (arc the plugs onto the block look 4 a spark). You may have screwed up the ecu up running the SAFC but if it was wired correctly it shouldn't have been a problem: pull the cover off and look for burnt resistors or chip (it'll be rather obvious). Possibly the CAS but those very very rarely go bad. The ECU's in these cars are pretty stout and they rarely go bad but then again if the SAFC was wired up crappy you might have shorted something and then you need new ECU... this is easy to test if you can find some1 with a stock n62 ecu.

I def don't mean insufficent like shitty I mean not 100% of its capabilities, what you said a little laggy, best bet is get a DVOM and the real factory service manual for a 180sx and check the sensor and continuity.
