If you are ballsy enough.
Go to court...and tell the judge that. GET the camera info if possible, and act like an intellect. Wear nice clothes, prepare what you plan to say, and go say it.
If it doesn't work, and the judge says the count stands...say you have one more word to say.
Look at the officer and say:
"Hey...buddy. FUCK YOU."
You will feel better.

You can discuss it with whoever you want to. People say you shouldn't because admissions have a way of getting around to the wrong person and being used against you.

A lot of traffic charges carry the 1 year in jail / $2500 fine max penalties in VA but these sentences are rarely handed out unless you're a habitual offender.

and don't sweat the ticket, op. you may get fined 100 bucks and have to take defensive driving which is something like 100 bucks also.
