Got pulled over tonight by a trooper for exhaust gave me a ticket.. should i just pay it off or take it to court? Ive never got one before and i know people up here have so just asking for advice. And how much are exhaust tickets?

 

pay it... not worth the hassle...

friend just got another.. tried to fight... The judge gave a new line.. says that any after market part has to be signed off on by the state trooper superintendant... so i guess now you have to get a letter from super to using anything other than oem on a moving vehicle... he did not get it b/c of noise.

 

Take it to court and argue it, look dumb, and pay court costs.

30 bucks + court cost? But what if u mail it in you dont have to pay court cost then do you? Because i didnt have to pay court cost when i got a seatbelt ticket a while back

 

You should always have to pay court cost, even if you prepay.

 

i won my last exhaust case and had to pay the court cost.. it was somewhere around 50$

 

Take it to court and hope to get a judge that likes cars. I got off my last exhaust ticket because the cop didn't actually look at it and couldn't prove anything.

 

Always take it to court because you pay for not being there so you might as well pay for your little visit to there gay court rooms.

 

if you have progressive fight it. its not worth the increase
