And places won't do it behind the cat because if you get caught by the police, that's a five-figure fine for them.

no, just where the exhaust header connects to the exhaust piping...so where current header is and back

do you mean infront? im guessing from emissions type bs? isnt there a year where that doesnt matter? like 20+yrs or something?

you cant remember were you bought your car... ouch


So what's done to it. A 1.8 is not much unless you have a decent size turbo and boost. You will hating lower RPM's till boost happen if you go to big.

Are there no companies that make exhausts for that car? 3" is way too big unless you plan on making a ton of power. You can get away with 2¼" -- 2½" MAX if you must. Of course 3" could fit, but is not needed and is way overkill.

nah i remember exactly, i got it from a member in hampton...though he was very shady but thats another story.

with the mods i did i get most power up high any ways, though its hitting a wall and sounds restrictive.

Ive researched this quite a bit and what im trying to do is not "unique" but rather the norm for my engine with similar mods so i know what im getting into interms of drivability and what not. I just need to know a place where they will take on this type of job its fairly straight forward i think...
