Default Dragstrips in VA and MD

I live in NoVA, but I'm in the H-burg area most weekends and get down to Norfolk one weekend a month (guess why...)

I only know of a few dragstrips in VA and MD... I'm sure there are a LOT more. I'd like to know about them and start keeping a list of them.

If this is already done, please point me in that direction.

Thanks.

These are the ones I know about:

Sumerduck Dragway: 1/8 mile in Sumerduck, VA
http://www.sumerduckdragway.com/

Old Dominion Speedway: 1/8 mile in Manassas, VA
http://www.olddominionspeedway.com/O...trip_Main.html

Capitol Raceway: 1/4 mile in Crofton, Maryland
http://www.capitolraceway.com/

Eastside Speedway: 1/8 mile in Waynesboro, VA
http://www.eastsidespeedway.com/

That can't be it... Anybody else care to contribute?

EDIT: Added strips posted later in the thread

IMO, MIR is the best kept track to race at but the test and tunes are always packed......your lucky to get 3 runs in on some days. Capital dragway is less crowded but track is kinda shitty. Mason Dixon is good but kinda far from the NOVA area.

How much does it usually cost to run? I've never been to one.

Open? I haven't checked all the websites, but I would expect not at this time of year.

Cost? I've paid $15 for a test and tune night at strips on the Gulf Coast.

I used to know a few NHRA rules off the top of my head... but I won't even try to remember them... I'd just screw them up.

all NHRA sanctioned tracks must have a weekly street car night to continue being NHRA sanctioned.
