Default Door Kickers

I have a 96 accord, and my actuator (spelling), the shit that makes the door unlock from the remote. has gone bad. i work next to Goho-auto, and they said that the aftermarket actu..whatevers won't fit the factory alarm. i am thinking about jsut getting kickers, and saying fuck the whole lock unlock thing, since you can't get in without hitting the kick button anyways. has anyone ever had problems with kickers, or just generel BEWARE about them. i appreciate any advice. thanks..

I think they are solonoids that pop or "kick" the door open, for those who have shaved door handles

ok. yes kickers are what "kicks" the door open for people without door handles. some people do leave the door handles on, but that not the point. so i re-state the question. anyone know of any downfalls to having (the unit that opens the door if ya don't got a door handle) kickers. thank you.
