The Accord automatic trannies can't even handle stock power. It's pretty clear which choice is smarter.

the thing is that the s/c has been so expensive and this is the closest I've been to that price. Then there's the 6 speed swap saying you can afford me too. But a s/c is all i need to complete the package and i guess that when the tranny that i have die i could go the route of a 6 speed swap. Thats what I'm thinking so far.

maybe its me but the car is fine the way it is. Put the money into a stock or buy something that will benefit you in the long run.

u like cars just like me and we both know that the amount of money and time you invest in a car will never return to you.

If you had a fully restored muscle car era classic or a euro rarity then yea. BUt normal cars liek we drive will do nothing more than become an expensive liability

i know how hard it is to not spend the money on the car, but it might be your best bet. I dont know your situation, but if it was me, the money would sit in the bank, gain some interest, and give me peace of mind. But then again, blowing the money on a 6 spd swap would be fun. Because there is no point in putting a supercharger on that weak slushbox

You have a point there. but it is hard not to spend it on something you have been wanting for a long time.

But it would be nice to turn my slush box into something a little quicker. I don't know. I have this poll on 2 other boards and it equals out to be the same.

It would only be quicker for about a week. Did you put this poll on the V6 Accord site? What do the more knowledgable guys there say? I can't imagine them recommending that you boost on that weak tranny.
