hey i have a chance to get a del sol off my dads girl friend. i know it has been kept up and what not but you think it is worth being interested in? Anyone know if they are fast? I currently have a 97 ford escort and plan to sell it when i get back from vacation . I am not sure if i should (turn to the darkside) and get the del sol or look for a 240sx after i sell the car.

 

I have both. Del Sol and 240SX I mean. Sols can be done just like any other civic, pretty much everything is interchangeable. I kept the sol to keep my FWD Honda heritage, and got the 240 for something a little different in a RWD turbo (SR swap soon) flavor. You can easily blow countless thousands customizing either.. The 240 is a ilittle more practical though, it's bigger, roomier, and has a (small) rear seat and useable trunk. Sols don't grow on trees anymore, so if you like honda stuff, and get the sol for a good price, go for it. It's a little heavier than a hatch, but looks better and has a targa top. Swaps and parts are cheap too..

I like how the back window rolls down on the del sol. And there is quite a bit of space in the truck... Many large people have rode in my trunk, usually on the cell phone or playing gameboy in the dark for most of the ride.
