Sorry, don't know that much about 5.0's, other than they respond hell'a' good to mods. I would start out with a Steeda Tri-ax shifter and gears as some of my first mods. CAIs are stupid, remove the air silencer and slap in a K&N and you have yourself a do-it-yourself CAI. That about all the help I can give though, sorry.... Congrats on on the new 'stang. I'm SURE you'll enjoy it!

Meh, not that much. With 1500, get yourself some gears, headers, x pipe, and exhaust, and a short throw shifter if you still have some left. 3.73's with a 5 speed and 4.10's with a auto are the norm. That should put you solidly into the 13s if you can drive.

Welcome to the world of V-8 Performance. Quick out the box with potential . Got to love the aftermarket out there for the 5.0's. Definalty a smart choice!

for 1500 your best bet is 3.73 or 4.10 gears, shifter, headers h pipe and a good cat back, parts for 5.0's are relatively cheap, and if you find some good deals and can do your own work, you may have enough left to get a good aftermarket intake manifold for a few extra ponies. go do some ebay shopping.
