My fault. I meant the same clutch parts that an 02 has from a Z06.

I thought it was just the whole clutch in general. I'm not 100% sure. I thought you were trying to call me out for being wrong. I knew the 01+ come with the LS6 intake and clutch and some even come with the LS6 block (nothing major just a conversation piece). I actually believe my old TA had an LS6 block after doing some research.

Yeah I'm sure it's just the clutch. Unless the clutch master cylinder and what not is universale btw LSX vehicles, but I'm not sure.

In 2001 and up the advertised HP output was changed from 305 to 310 on base LS1s and from 320 to 325 on WS6s and SSs. The cars have a smaller cam from the Vortec truck engines to increase low end torque. They have 28 lb fuel injectors like the 98 cars (albeit different part numbers. And all manual transmission cars all came with the Z06 clutch

I believe only the upgraded hydraulics, you have to remember 01 was a very short production year for F-bods. The 02 year started early, they got the complete package, pressure plate and clutch were added. This was a costs savings program for the final year.

Really? I've always been told that the 01's had a Z06 clutch. Hell I have no idea honestly I've never driven another year LS1 or a Z06, so I really couldn't tell you. I know there's a sticky in the new owner's section on tech and has a link to the differences b/w the years and that's listed.

I miss mine.

Yes, the material was upgraded to withstand the higher output and meet the durability requirements of the ZO6 program. This is a factory race car so it had to meet higher requirements.

The 01's are some really odd cars. Because of the short production year and the new ZO6 parts coming out, you will find some irregularties. It is known that a very small percentage came with the LS6 blocks, and in 02 an even larger number came out with the LS6 block. It is not because they put more in, but the production year was longer on the 02's so more F-bods got the blocks.

Oh I see. I never knew that 01 was a short production year. Thanks for the info.
