well the primer that is on an aftermarket hood will rust within a couple weeks...like they all said...it will have to be stripped to metal and prepped,primed and painted now...instead of a wetsand and paint....but the good news is its most likely a honda...the hoods are cheap...so figure out buying another one when your ready to paint and sell that one to some kid as "fresh"

I'm not being dumb bro, everyone knows it's intended purpose is strictly as fuel system cleaner and nothing else. OP should put a bottle in the tank with every fill up.
