It's a shame the targa version did not make production.

Secondly its BARELY faster than a stock Skyline. Best Motoring got 7:56, the only Skyline time I can find is a R33 from 1996 with 7:59 (first production car to break 8 minutes BTW). Not to mention with other people driving the NSX-R it got a time of 8:09, so its really up to the driver.
Finally ... who cares about stock?
Not me.Still sticking with the Skyline, because its Nissan
and because of the tuning potential.

Voted Supra. Engines can handle mass amounts of power.
Have no idea about Skylines, seen 2. Never asked anybody about em or anything.
Why is the 350Z up there? Those cars are very poorly built, minus the engine.

Now, I would never personally buy an NSX-R, I'd spend my money more sensibly and get a z06/c5/c6 instead and run just as fast for alot less. On another note, I'd rather have the Skyline or the Supra. But that doesnt mean that the NSX-R isnt a better (read: FASTER) car. And 3 seconds is a long time on a road course.
But oh well. The Skyline is arguably the coolest of them all, the r34 anyway. And that is my top choice, with the supra 2nd, and then the STi, and then the Evo, and then the VR4.
well since you didnt have the crx as a choice i went with the skyline, the king of group a racing in japan. no other car combines speed, handling and civility like the skyline, for the price atleast.
im also biased since my dream car has the heart of a skyline.
