Bad Vibration

Default Bad Vibration

I have a 94 Z28 that has a bad vibration I can be going down the road at 45-50mph in drive and it will start vibrating. When I shift it in overdrive It will stop till you hit around 60-65mph It will start again.any info will be helpful

wheels/tires out of balance, or maybe a bad driveshaft u joint

It feels like it gonna fall apart and the vibration feels like its where the gear shifter is makes you feel like its the trans but it shifts fine and dont slip none.

Tranny mount?

Check the stuff that SiExtreme said too because it could very well be one of those two, but if it was wheels then it wouldn't be there then go way then come back. Check your u-joints.

sounds like a mount problem to me..one of my friends had 2 loose motor mounts and it was vibrating ridiculously.

My chevy is for a everday driver and a streetracer to.The Mopar is if sumone beats the Z then I will go home and get the MOPAR.

I worked on it today and I tryed the tourge conveter bolts and they was tight and I checked the motor mounts they where tight. I checked the trans mount and it was loose and I rasied the rear up and looked at the driveshaft and it looked like it had a wipple in it. does that mean that the driveshaft is unblanced.

I drove the car and vibration isn't as bad and I put it in nutaul and the vibration went away.
