b16 or gsr in crx?
well i been researching alittle and for the money it seems its better to go b16 caus its not that much of a difference in a crx then a gsr. but im wondering if it would be better to go h22 u can get that setup for the same as b16
the swap is cheap, but putting it in is a lot more $ than a b16
I'm doing a B18C block and B16A head. The B18C head is not as up to par as that of a B16's. You can also match that up with CTR pistons for the highest factory compression available. It is reffered to as the "Poor Man's R" I believe but I'm not one for silly names haha.
If you just want to buy everything in tact go B16A. And an H22A would just be ridiculously fast in a CRX....it would leave a B16/B18 CRX plenty behind. I have had experience with all setups. The tq/wt in it would just be too much for the B-series at higher speeds.

Yoy will spend more money on a GS-R however you will have a lot more low end power over a B16. Honestly LS/vtec is probably the cheapest way to go and will be a much strong motor than either. All the money you can save on buying the motors, you can throw into mods.
