The 2008 C6 AND C6Z06 are using the new 6060 Tremec. Now as Shane said.......give us a beefed up clutch.

As Rich has said the 6060 is being used for the '08 cars. The C6R has a sequential manual gearbox. Who knows what it'll have, but they're right about the supercharger configuration. It's a twin-screw that sits in the valley... air comes in, goes up through the intercooler (liquid/air), and out the sides into the heads.

As Jay said, The new one in the Shelby (6060) would have no problems with anything that vette could throw at it.

i did a procharged 04' cobra.717whp/637tq,with abosolutely no problems from the tranny,just the idiot 18 year old kid driving it.
