Anyone wanna split this with me?
Whoever buys it just needs to get serious about the promotion and advertising of this place on a national level. It won't be shit as long as it's just another junkyard on the side of the road that is only known locally.
I was thinking along the same lines...
I would take the house and land with the lot. I would come in and tear down the house and put a nice metal warehouse\barn there. Decide what cars\motors\assemblies I am keeping whole, tear everything else down. I would then catalog everything I am not keeping for projects and catalog it all into a database, take a picture, and store them in the correct bins on the shelves.
Set up a website to order from. Sell stuff on ebay gradually as well maybe.
i just recently helped a guy clean out is 5 car garage. It was full of model a parts, 50s cehvy parts, trans n carbs everywhere. body parts n moudlings to tons of diff cars. it all either went in the trash or the scrap yard.
1 thing that i didnt think to hold onto and make a profit off of was a mid 50s full chevy gauge cluster with all working gauges and still good factory paint on it. that was prolly worth a pretty penny alone.

I didnt see a single item i'd want to buy for $1.50, not $1.5mil.
Best idea is to strike a deal for $1mil, insure it for 2mil and burn that fucking place to the ground. Collect and its a good day.
