How many times do I have to say this. Anyone that buys a car for resale value alone is a complete moron. Especially if your in the car hobby.

I'm honesly not on the guys side, I know how fast teggie turbos can be, and 336hp at 2800 or so lbs would totally eat me..but cold tires on a V8 RWD vehicle = death in a race.

If he gets to heat the tires up, and you don't get your highway turbo advantage, it might be a completely different story

 

people just need to have something to blame it on. does this guy think i got out of my car and let the air out of my tires before we raced. NO!!! excuses are excuses.

i was running full psi in my tires too

 

street racing is so circumstantial.

he didnt get to heat his tires, he wanted to run from a roll, he wanted to go from a dig, blah blah.

do this at the track where its bottom line fair, and the obvious.. safe'er no oncoming tree's or run away guard rails.

besides, popcorn and a seat are always a plus for the spectator's.

 

but..but... the left lane was shitty and the right lane was so clean!

 

we all new that one was coming.

 

i completly understand, thats why i want to go to the track and see what both our cars can do.
