Exactly. The OP has 2 options. Legal or illegal. If you don't want to shell out the cash for replacement bags, you shouldn't have bought a wrecked POS. Tanga.

Only reason I said pull the bulb is becuase when I took the module out of my blazer, my airbag light came on.

It must be set up a little different on hondas.

As part of the inspection process, the inspector has to check the airbag indicator light's function. If it doesn't come on at all when the key is turned in the ON position, then the vehicle fails.

as stated in the state inspection manual if the car is equip with an original srs system it must work properly. if not, it will fail va state inspection. before with the old state inspection manua,l you can take out the srs system and be able to pass. however with the new and updated va state inspection manual, if the car is equip with a srs system (from the factory) it must work properly (turned on for 6-8 sec and turned off) to pass va state inspection. so in other words get it fix to pass or as stated before pay for a sticker somewhere.

its very simple what he needs....you either have a set of bags and module or you dont....
