Why spend the money on an SI if you are going to swap it out?

I agree with Paul. If your gonna swap it you could get a base model for less swap it and still have basically the same car after the swap.

just get the si if you want the options in the car...and put a b series or k series in ya basement....and take a year to build it RIGHT. and spank everyone, like im about to do...works well.

Shit my old civic was a 93 2dr coupe with dual exhaust, and intake and some tuning to the factory motor it was quick, not fast but quick. Now my buddy has it because i wanted to get rid of it for something else and hes tuned the motors a lot more, stage 2 clutch and rebuilt tranny and it smoked a si at the track last time i talked to him. no he doesn't spray.

I can't say anything about the driver in the si becuase i wasn't there but who know he could have got lucky and the guy he raced couldn't race. But all i know is my first, and only, run ever on that car when i had it was 12.07 in a 1/8 of a mile it could have been around 11.8s, 11.9s if i had some time to race more and tune more but get my reaction time down pat, but that was pretty good to me being as that was my first time ever taking it to the track. Its was running 10.5's last time i was told.

Now i know you may be fixing to talk a lil junk, shit whatever you wanna say but thats you not me. All i know its not the car its the driver. You could have a "gt mustang" and i could have a bone stock ex civic if you can't drive worth a shit i could beat you if not beat you, you want leave me. but that a bone stock with me playing under the hood with a lil tools and my knowledge. no muffler, no intake, no nothing but tuning.
