Default Turbo options

Should i get t3/4e or t3 super 60 or tdo4-19t yes its tod4 NOT tdo5

Yeah my stock turbo is maxed out at 240hp on the tdo4-13c which sounds about right for the turbo.... but i coudl do cam but all that will do it change where most of the power in my case is.... margian difference before new turbo all together... maybe another 10-15hp at wheels but with bigger turbo and cam more liek 30-35hp

yeah my stock cam i have is geared for low end grunt..

First of all, knowing the engine would help. Second, I would eliminate the T3 super 60 from that list. Third, bigger cams might have more of an effect then you think.

man you really hate that T3 super 60 dont you?

Its a fine turbo for 250-300 whp at higher boost. At 13psi it should get you about 200-230 maybe more.

Its really a choice between HP potentials and your required driveability or spool up time/rpm. If you want alot of low end, pick the smaller turbos. If low end and throttle response is of no concern, pick one of the T04e/T3 hybrid turbos.

i have like 22-23% drive line lost which is alot but.... miatas are 23% i know.... my current tdo4-13c pulls til about 5500rpms and dies... i was wondering about tdo4-19t yes they mkae tem they supprto about 400 crank hp.... i want something streetable and normal t3 anit goign ot do it i dont think unless they make t3's suppport about 350hp... pressure on the turbo is not a prolblem my engine can support upwards pressure near 28-30 psi with out worring about rods.... also my car current rednline it 6100rpm so loking for turbo htat will start spooling at about 2500-3000rpm and be fully spooled by 3500-4000rpm....maybe u dont like super 60 cuase its big fucking turbo compared to t3/4e also i hve 2.3l engine...

WHOA i thought you wanted a small gain.

If you want 350 to 400 hp what boost do you want it at? high or lower(like you have now). I'll assume you mean 400hp on race day where you pump race gas and up the boost. Then a T3/T4 60 trim or 57 trim should do fine. will spool really well too. not like stock but not like a full T4. You will need bigger injectors with the ability to turn them up and down. And most likely a new manifold.

I have a turbo sized up for 400hp @13psi. The turbo is capable of 600 @ higher boost. If i told someone 400 hp is the goal they might suggest something where i had to run ungodly amounts of boost. So the boost level question is important.
