That's weird, During the accident I witnessed, they told me immediately about the condition of the passengers. Maybe because the guy was DOA. It's been 8 years and I can't get his face out of my head.

At least the guy in your situation may have a chance. I'll shoot a prayer out for him and his friends/family, and for you, stay strong!

Once I made it to sleep I was fine. That didn't happen until around 4am though. I get up for work at 4am. Needless to say, I didn't make it in today.

I'd feel bad for the driver but I don't esp. if he was drinking and driving. I feel bad for you Corey and the old woman since you're left to deal with the aftermath of his poor decision.

I felt the same way about the kid on the motorcycle that died racing on LaSalle and clipped a car.
If you do something stupid to cause your death, then why should I feel bad about it?
I would hope if I pile the Cobra into a retaining wall racing someone else that you would all call me an idiot and not feel bad about me since it was my stupidity that got me killed

You don't need to put your Cobra in a wall at 140 for us to call you an idiot.

I dont think its a bad thing you had to witness that... hell, I dont even think its that awful that he may have died. To me, death is simple. No matter how or when you die, once its your time to go... its your time to go. Granted you missed work and lost sleep. As real as death is in all of our minds, seeing it first hand in front of your face is the most sobering and horrifying event a person should witness. Try to take whatever good can come of it. Was he even wearing a seatbelt?

If by watching that drunk driver's death and the imagery reminds you and your friends not to drive drunk (or anyone else reading this thread), then missing one day from work was worth it.

I have no sympathy for drunk drivers.. I hate to see anyone get killed even if it is over their own stupidity, but I FOR SURE wont help make it easier for someone to get away with driving drunk.
