whats your beacons score? check it also what is your debt to income ratio? i think those are the two things banks strongly look for. and how long u've done business with them.

Dude try Navy Federal if they will not do it then you do not need the 5 grand. It is not that big of a deal to apply for the loan though it is a hit on your credit but if it gets approved you are in the clear if not then oh well it does not sound like your credit is to important to you anyways

Most credit unions are not beacon score driven but reviewed, DTI however is a set in stone guidline for most...normally 40-50%

710 is very high, however you could have minimal credit all on time, giving you such a high score, you can really only get a good view of your credit by looking at the payment history with past/present creditors.

oh well every card i have and everything ive made payments on has been on time. it shows all that on the report too. only thing that sucks for me is that my credit is all pretty new so i dont have a long history. maybe ill just end up co-signing with my dad or something. i talked to citi financial and they approved me for the 5000 but there apr was way to high. they wanted 28% APR over 60 months. i said fuck that really quick. ill be better off trying to get into a credit union and going that way with it
