Where do you all live/rent/etc in VA beach????

my neighborhood is like 750 for rent. they are townhoues 2 br, 1 full bath, 1 half bath, fenced in backyard, 2 parking spots, its off virginia Beach Blvd between Great neck and Lynnhaven parkway. I could get you the number of a place to rent that went up this week if you want

Yeah, I have been in Roanoke for 3 years now, run as fast and as far as you can away from this boring god-aweful place. I am trying to get a transfer to Norfolk or Va Beach. I posted a thread on here a while back asking about apts in Va beach search for it. Good info.

stay away from the oceanfront >< i have a tiny ass 2 bedroom and 1 bath and its over 1200 a month ><

Fiance speaking:

I dont care about direct oceanfront. I would much rather buy than rent, seeing I am a accounting/business major, it makes no sense to rent, even if we are only there 6-12 months.

We have not physically gone and checked out the area and probably wont for a little while, but the main thing I worry about is definitally my car! If we do rent, I want it to either have a garage or security gate to enter. Obviously that is going to be expensive, so hopefully we can find a nice condo with safe parking.

It would make sense if the market drops before you sell it. But I don't really think that's gonna happen anytime soon. The market right now is great for both buying and selling.

The market has been and hopefully will continue to be good. Ive come across a few really nice places for a decent price.
