I think its cool Langley is doing the whole Wednesday night thing but I have a question. How do they run the course for the "time trials"? I mean, drags and burn-outs are self explanitory. So my guess is that its some sort of course using the infeild kinda like an Autocross.

Anyway thanx to anyone who can clear this up.

 

time trials are when you race against the clock around the track...it gives them times for your run so they can put you up against someone who was close to your time....

 

it's like qualifying.
besides, you don't want to use the infield there...we used to autocross there and the pavement changes are murder...even on R compound tires!

track surface and infeild surfaces are two diffrent compounds it will cause for rough transitions and poor traction in some areas.
