i dont know what kind of martial arts she was involved in, but after 15 years she should have been a black belt, and if you have a black belt you have to have your hands legally registered as deadly weapons (pretty badass, i know) and if you are a black belt and get in a fight, the person you are fighting has to have something greater than you, for example if you have your hands, they have to have a knife, and if you have a knife then they have to have a gun and so on because of the deadly manos. so, like i said, i dont know what level she was but that may be a good point in court. this whole thing sucks man...i think you should disconnect all the utilities and try to have them removed from your house unless of course by some act of insanity you named her on the house title....

 

Can't touch the utilities. She was a 2nd degree black belt in Tang Su Do or however you spell it. Yeah I'll have to wait a week to see if I can at least get my Truck and my car out. She already filed for custody, have the hearing this month. I just don't understand how she can think she'll raise the children better than me considering the success of her family. Her brother, 26 married and living with Dad still and still asking him for money not paying anything. Her sister, 18 dropped out of school and have been doing nothing the past year. Her dad, retired E7 from Air Force and has shitty credit and does nothing and has nothing to show for the time he was in the service. My family, everyone has a bachelors or better, 3 cousins graduated from UPenn law school, 1 cousin Physics PhD at Columbia, 1 cousin PhD in psychology from Widener, 1 cousin Pharmacy degree from Rutgers, 1 cousin currently attending Princeton, Lowest SAT score, mine at 1300, highest, my cousin at 1570 so losing my kids to those idiots is killing me.

Sorry to hear about your luck. OBTW getting a bad ass lawyer isnt going to help, u are in the state of VA. I've seen it time and time again, that a father deserves custody but in this state the mother always wins. I've seen crack whore mom's get custody instead of the dad. Good luck with your battle in court, your best bet is to swallow your pride and kiss her ass so she will agree to partial custody. Unless she AGREE's to full custody, all u will get is one day a week, every other weekend, and holidays-in which u have to designate. As for your belongings, show proof u own them and get a police escort to retrieve them.

A good lawyer, goods references and a stable environment wins everytime. In the absence of both, most judges will side with the lawyer.

The hitting thing is a big strike against you, but it's not insurmountable.
