I am flying in next week to close on a house I just bought in the Norfolk area. Just wondering if anyone has some ideas of what I can do or where I can go while in town. I am only going to be in town for 2 days, and wont be back until I move next month.
Norfolk has some bars and lots of restaurants...go eat some sushi - Domos on Granby St (the bars are also on that street - there are some hot ass gold diggers who go there too!).
There's not much to do in Norfolk really. I'd say, go to the beach or something. Like go to the "new downtown" of Va beach, it's pretty neat, if you're a tourist.

I think there is a baby clothes store there too.
Anyway, Norfolk has tons of stuff to do. I love living downtown. Granby street by the waterfront has a hundred different bars and restaurants. Then Colley Ave, and 21st In Ghent are also full of stores, and restaurants and bars to hang out in. Macarthur mall is a great place. The local museums kinda suck, but the night life is great here. The new "fake" downtown in Vabeach is just that, a fake downtown. Everything there is overpriced and plastic.
