What to do in Norfolk?
Granby Street in downtown. Lots of nice bars and restaurants down there.
MacArthur Mall is probably the nicest mall in the area, if you want to shop, and they have a couple restaurants there as well.
There's a couple museums I can think of off hand MacArthur Memorial and Nauticus. MacArthur Memorial is like a WWII/Korean War museum and is also home to the tomb of Douglas A. MacArthur.
Can ticketmaster or even downtownnorfolk.com (I think that's the site) to see if any shows will be in town (music/plays) because there's a pretty busy performing arts calendar around here, just got to keep up to date or you'll miss something.
Virginia Beach's Towne center (Va Beach Blvd./Independence Blvd. intersection area) is more of the same, but it has a comedy club which has a lot of shows with some decent headliners.
If you trying to do something I haven't listed let me know and I'll try to find a place to hang out or something.
