I like this place on Indian River Rd in the kempsville area, don't know the name of it, there's a chick fil a and ice cream stand close by. The other place I like is Rancho Grande on military hwy in chesapeake.

I've tried various other ones in the area and either the service is poor or they're so loud you can't talk due to the acoustics.

Guadalajara off Laskin will always be my favorite 757 mexican spot and Ive been to almost everyone.

 

Off topic, but being in AZ for a bit, the mexican there 2391837412398 times better.

 

El Gran Rodeo is the only mexican i will eat. I hated mexican food before i met my best friend jesse' who manages it, (drives a blue vw slammed) but now i got there at least once a week...

and he gives me some authentic food as well... pork chilie verde' fo life !
