Tire pressure monitor trips when crossing HRBT/MMMBT
Interesting. I've never heard of them. Although I don't think they're the culprit. It doesn't always happen when I'm crossing the bridge. In fact, the light always comes on while I'm on the peninsula probably within 2 miles or so of either bridge/tunnel.
Just an idea:
The air at the bottom of the tunnel is under more pressure than on the bridge. It could be possible that the increased air pressure is causing your monitor to trip, possibly because it only compares a net change in the pressure instead of actually measuring whether it is higher or lower.
On the way back the pressure trips it again and if it's simply a toggle (each trip sets it to either on or off) it turns it off.
Just a hypothesis, but either way, the dealer should have a look at it.

He's got HRE 840Rs on the car and they don't accept the factory tire pressure sensors. The point is that there are no pressure sensors on the car, yet it's still tripping the light when he's on the other side of the water.
The car isn't getting a signal from the wheels/tires.

If the car comes with a full size spare, break it down and put the sensors inside the spare tire. I know people do it on Toyotas because when you remove the sensors, the light is always on.
