Smokey bear, look him up, PM him, best advice on where to get your detector, what to get, how to hide it so the cops can't see it. Guy is awesome for this kinda stuff. He's got good hook ups on inspection stickers if you won't pass state inspect too.

Where there is a will there is a way. Remember that works both ways though. You spend the energy to try and hide it, they spend the energy to try and find where it's hidden. IF the officer, deputy or Trooper use the radar properly, they will already have your speed before your detector goes off and/ or you get slowed down. The technology is advancing on both sides but the Custom Eagle and Custom Eagle II radars are hard to detect if they are being operated properly. The radars have a hold button. The radar should be released only after the visual has been made on the speeding car. In reality your radar detector will only detect lazy ones who leave the radar on all the time. If the unit is on hold, there is no radar to detect. Once he or she releases the radar it's to late. The Eagle and Eagle II's are faster than your detector and your reaction to it. You may get your car slowed a few mph's before it gives the readout.

I usually don't. If someone PM's me with a legit question I'll answer it. If they are looking for legal advice, I can't/ won't help them and explain why. If the question is specific to a code section, I'll answer their question but no legal advice. I get PM's here quite often and don't mind answering them if they are not looking for legal advice. Sometimes I like to have a little fun with the people who don't know me, but I'd never give them bad information or steer them wrong.

aww, I'm going to stop referring people to you then. I assumed you'd have some fun and offer them advice, followed promptly by another PM with details about who you are and how you're going to track them down by their IP address to scare the shit out of them.
