Some of you have made comments about missionaries annoying you and them pissing you off and what not, but these are are just a couple of 19-20 year olds who are out here on their own dime spreading what they believe is the truth. They don't carry money with them, they don't have anything on them but their clothes, bikes and Books of Mormon. Anyone being shot is always bad news, but these guys definitely didn't bring it upon themselves.

Your NewsChannel 3 is on the scene of a double shooting in Chesapeake involving two missionaries.
Chesapeake police say the shooting happened just after 6:00 Monday night on Elkhart Street. That's in the Deep Creek neighborhood.
According to a preliminary report, police say a man walked up to the two missionaries and shot them. The missionaries are from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The suspect is described as a black male last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans and stands about 5 foot 10 inches. He fled on foot towards Janice Lynn Court.
Right now, the victims are recovering from their injuries at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
