From inside the biz, dont take it to a jewlery store. they will put their charge on top of what rolex charges them itll be 250 + just for diagnostic. call rolex and send it to the nearest service center, which i beleive is in new york. that way you know its repaired right. if it has been modified however, they will not touch it.

some stores have their own repair people some send it to others. Eco drives are not hard to repair and whoever was talking about that citezen can repair it at their center they just want more money from you.

All Rolex repair shops send them out. No one does them "in-house". If they claim they have a guy on staff who can fix Rolex watches, it will void your warranty. When you get it back, you will receive a certificate of authenticity and repair from Rolex.

If you bring a Rolex to a guy in a mall that sits next to a guy who airbrushes t-shirts, you need to pawn that shit and get one out of the candy machine in the food court instead.

yah i was trying to look for where the nearest certified service center is in virginia but, there was none. i will find the number for rolex and ask. i will tell my parents about how repairs are sent off for service. they thought it would be repaired on the spot. it's mainly up to them. but they want to get it done right. maybe that's an excuse for me to go to new york and have it repaired for them.
