Thats cause bikes like the one i talked about is dumb as hell. I could care less about the biker who wrecked the other day,he was the dumb ass to go around cars. You say people dont pay attention to bikers, when its bikers who think they are invincible.

It's not that people don't pay attention, it's just they pay attention to the familiar. We are all more prone to recognize a car or truck rather than one little tiny headlight or something resembling a bicycle coming our way.

Hence, bikers are more invisible than invincible.

Well everytime i have a biker behind me he doesnt keep the normal distance,he rides directly on my ass. If i come to a stop light they get kinda to one side and i swear, if they bent there head down it would hit my trunk.

They ride to one side or the other to stay out of the oil in the center of the road.

And they get close to your trunk so they can get out of the way before the car behind you that doesn't see that you are stopped crushes them between your car and theirs.

QFT, I don't know how many times I have been stopped at a light behind a car and some jackass wasn't paying attention, and I hear his brakes locked up and his car sliding my way... at least when I am to one side of the car in front of my I can split between 2 cars so I don't get smashed to hell...

Maybe it's just me, but I kinda get the impression that most drivers of anything in this area suck. Put the cell phone down, stop texting, and stop paying more attention to your passenger than the vehicle you are tailgating.

then stop doing the fucking speed limit in the left lane. Seriously though... i hate that shit too. fucking cell phones... I'm obnoxious when someone is on their phone driving like a dumbass.

I watch out for people on bikes b/c they are a lot smaller and i would hate to hit one simply b/c my insurance would murder me... when they go insanely fast and weave between traffic I have no pity when they kill themselves for stuff like that. sometimes people in cars CANT see the bike that just appeared in no time flat in their blind spot.

No one ever tailgates me unless we're playing or I'm sitting in traffic, it's a method of driving that has kept me accident free after over 200,000 miles in the area. Though that's actually one thing in this area that for the most part I find to be fairly good. I don't tend to be the slow person on the road, and I've found that in general about a third of the people on the road actually get over before I have to slow down for them, and half of the rest get over once I'm behind them. Still could do better for sure, but half is better than none.

saw some bikes on my way to work yesterday afternoon. they were stunting, and I think there was a truck with people filming.

I mean, come on, stunting on 757 highway during rush hour? that's just irresponsible.. and stupid
