i'd have to say the chesapeake section of military highway is the worst road in the area. Its like driving over 30 railroad crossings in a row.

Yeah they have, but a few of them have started just turning into holes.

Westbound from the beach just east of lynnhaven is a bunch of these 'fixes'. Alot of them are fine, yet others are chunking and sinking- and I've seen Vdot picking up CHUNKS of concrete from the interstate.

Now that's some crazy shit, because I know if ANYTHING hits a baseball-sized chunk of concrete, mad shit is going to get fucked up.

 

A couple of years ago, HR was voted to have the 3rd worst roads in the nation. IT's nice to be known for something.

 

I can't wait 'til they start fixing 264. Then, we'll be stuck with 2 shitty lanes as they work on 1 lane for about 12 years.

In NY, they fix roads with the quickness. You go into work at 9 am, and by the timne you're coming home that shit is steaming from the fresh tar.

 

ehhh, down here they like to just replace it a square yard at a time.

 

They like to merge 4 lanes of traffic into 1 in under 100 yards right after a busy entrance ramp so it takes 6 hours to get through it.

 

Hampton Roads killed my coilovers, moved down here in August and by November, all 4 shocks were blown. I fucking hate this place.
